SASCO offers licensed construction services in the State of California and Nevada. With over 40 years of experience, SASCO has knowledge and expertise in many diverse areas of construction. New commercial and residential projects as well as additions and remodels are standard practice. For the more discerning client, we offer unique one of a kind design and function with our customized projects. Our skill and talent is limitless. A sample of our custom projects include: home theatres, secret passages, hidden security, safe rooms, wine cellars, man-made caves, waterslides, pools and bamboo tree houses.
SASCO is equipped to handle building improvements as well as manage entire projects. Our company can assist and/or create original design, oversee project build out, and organize project management from inception through completion. For customers who demand privacy and discretion, SASCO is a trusted and reliable choice. Information is given on a need to know basis and workers are kept to a minimum while executing optimal performance.
As licensed General Engineering, General Building, Electrical and Security Contractors we have the knowledge behind our business. We partner with established structural, technical, design, acoustic and engineering firms with experience and skill.
Below is a list of some of the more recent projects SASCO has completed:
(2001) An underground wine cellar capable of holding over 30 thousand bottles of wine, complete with specialized refrigeration and security.
(2003) A Custom Home Theatre Unparalleled in the Country, complete with the most incredible gear available from the home, custom and broadcast markets.
(2004) Retrofit of a large winery chilling system and refrigeration containment for a World Renown wine company.
(2006) A multi-million dollar Audio/Video installation and custom renovation which included a custom underground home theatre, two additional home theatre design and installation projects, and numerous AV installation projects.
(2009) A Multi Million dollar underground control facility inclusive of radiant GEO Thermal Systems, Thermo Gel Fire Protection, Water Purification, Containment and Distribution and more.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Steve Selover is the son of an architect and the grandson of a builder. He has been involved in the contracting business from a young age and has had experience in running large crews of up to 50+ employees while simultaneously managing finances for multiple projects. He holds a California General Contractors License, a California General Engineering Contractors License, and a Nevada General Contractors License. He also has five years of college education inclusive of accounting, business management and property management.
Steve has completed many projects throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Virginia, Florida and Bali, Indonesia. Prior to 1984, management consisted of the construction of several new homes in California and Nevada, as well as a very unique home on Jupiter Island (published in SOUTH FLORIDA HOME & GARDEN magazine); a very exclusive area North of West Palm Beach, Florida.
In 1989 he moved to Moraga, where he remains today.
Steve is also a contributor/donator and sponsor for several charities and organizations including but not limited to: “The Special Olympics,” “Light the Night organization” for the “Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,” “American Cancer Society,” “March of Dimes,” “League to Save Lake Tahoe,” “Alissa Rush Burn Foundation,” “Good Tidings Foundation,” “Smile Train,” and the “Caring for Children” charity.
